TangleClaw public roadmap
Each release combines lanes of agentic work that can proceed in parallel unless an explicit dependency says otherwise. Rows are recommended assignment priority, not hidden dependencies. Private lane assignments, internal notes, and filtered items are omitted.
Unversioned trains
Train 33Discord Channels and ForumsUnversioned / collecting ideas1 public item
Collecting ideas for named Discord channels and forum threads. Watching is read-only. Public posting stays held until the Operator approves a grant bound to the exact destination and text. Existing bridge behavior and scheduled release targets stay as they are.
Scope and ideas in issue #2394
| Order | Issue | Status | Prerequisites | Planned item |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | #2394 | Not started | — | enhancement Discord Channels and Forums: multi-channel watch and scoped posting intake |
Train 34Reusable Sprint Team TemplateUnversioned / collecting ideas7 public items
Collecting a portable starter-team package, guided Add team setup, an evidence-backed model and effort guide, per-rule editing, a wrong-role instruction guard, and an initial read-only Team templates preview in Settings. A separate pilot must prove setup, role boundaries and recovery before the template is offered for use. Version slices will be chosen from that evidence.
Scope and ideas in issue #2012
| Order | Issue | Status | Prerequisites | Planned item |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | #2012 | Not started | — | feature Run the first Resource Modules fleet pilot |
| 2 | #2014 | Not started | — | feature Add runtime-enforced Resource Module leases and safe transitions |
| 3 | #2016 | Not startedPR #2166 · Merged · Referenced | — | feature Delegated and bulk session-rule approvals |
| 4 | #2071 | Not started | — | enhancement Let project architects provision and retire resource modules through scoped delegated authority |
| 5 | #2395 | Not started | — | enhancement Reusable Sprint Team Template package and Settings preview |
| 6 | #2396 | Not started | — | enhancement Edit a rule in place from Project Rules settings |
| 7 | #2397 | Not started | — | enhancement Ask before forwarding an instruction likely sent to the wrong role |
Train 35Project Master Startup and ContinuityUnversioned / collecting ideas3 public items
Collecting the Master-specific startup decision, durable continuity/rotation, and a stopped-Master relaunch control. Current Claude-to-Codex identity and API reachability defects remain open under #1085 and #1836 in their existing release forecasts; #1836 needs urgent diagnosis and the earliest feasible repair slice after evidence. Governed wrap and closed-loop handoff remain with #2072 and #2073 in their existing forecast until their release scope is explicitly reconciled. No automatic Master relaunch or new lifecycle authority is active from this planning card.
Scope and ideas in issue #1712
| Order | Issue | Status | Prerequisites | Planned item |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | #1712 | Not startedPR #1725 · Merged · Referenced | — | question Should the Master pane have a phased launch of its own? |
| 2 | #2120 | Not started | — | feature Project Master needs its own continuity mechanism (no wrap pipeline, no context watchdog) |
| 3 | #984 | Not started | — | enhancement Add Relaunch button to Master Control Bar when Master is stopped |

v5.34.0A suite you can trustCurrent target47/61 completed · 5 in progress · 9 not started · 56 merged PRs since batch start
- A full-suite run on a busy host fails only when the code is wrong.
- The committed guide and the skip ledger are held by tests.
- A launch refusal remains readable until dismissed and wraps on a narrow screen.
- An Operator can resolve a merge-queue landing whose merged pull request has no usable merge commit.
Status at this snapshot: v5.34.0 Waves 1 through 14 (50 PRs: #2418-#2432, #2434-#2438, #2440-#2441, #2443-#2449, #2454-#2457, #2459-#2464, #2466-#2468, #2471-#2480, #2482-#2483 at 5a359d2c) are merged on main, closing 55 sprint issues across test reliability, wrap/launch safety, and docs (#831, #1049, #1280, #1413, #1437, #1563, #1640, #1993, #1998, #2008, #2036, #2042, #2045, #2059, #2129, #2142, #2146, #2152, #2155, #2160, #2164, #2175, #2196, #2206, #2223, #2234, #2253, #2285, #2299, #2304, #2312, #2317, #2339, #2349, #2358, #2361, #2364, #2365, #2366, #2372, #2375, #2378, #2384, #2389, #2393, #2408, #2414, #2417, #2447, #2450, #2451, #2452, #2453, #2465, #2469, #2470). v5.32.0Recovery, rules and launch safetyReleased2026-10-11Release notes32/33 completed · 9 workstreams
- Recovery offers the advisory path and fleet clearance without repeated individual intervention.
- Session rules can replace and retire predecessors without simultaneous conflicting instructions.
- First-time folder trust failures are surfaced and recoverable during session launch.
- Cross-session launch identity mismatches fail closed before project-scoped work can target the wrong session.
- A verified Codex version launches isolated, and an unverified one is refused with a reason.
- Changing an engine never carries a launch mode onto the new engine, for a project or the Project Master.
- Asking the update script for help never performs an update.
- Wrap ownership and test isolation fixes land with evidence.

v5.33.0Newer Codex versionsReleased2026-10-13Release notes10/10 completed · 38 merged PRs since batch start
- Codex newer-version launch and wake safety groundwork is merged; 0.161.0 and 0.162.0 remain unlisted pending #2059's revised gate in v5.34.
- A Codex launch that cannot be isolated is refused by default, with an operator override per project or install; Project Master follows the same rule.
- A finished chunk stops waiting on a second copy of the test suite and on the other lane's merge.
Status at this snapshot: v5.33.0 is published and running on the live install at the tagged commit. Its release workflow and main tests passed; the server reports version 5.33.0, health OK, and schema 66. All 10 scoped issues are closed. The batch exit gate passed again after correction PR #2392 merged and the Integrator read all seven items true. A project launch-isolation override was found on after release and turned off; a fresh store read at 20:03 PDT found no override rows. The phone and screen-reader check remains partly owed. The Operator made the first live merge queue at 20:07 PDT; its first real PR landing and clear-halt check remain owed. Both Builder lanes completed no-change wraps; #2320's unarmed PR and drawer checks remain owed.
Candidates to build beside this release's parallel workstreams (no shared area, no recorded dependency, not both needing a migration; check each chunk before dispatch, and a runs-alone workstream anywhere pauses them): v5.37.0, v5.39.0, v5.40.0, v5.41.0, v5.43.0, v5.44.0.

Firsts 4
The first time the project did something new in how it is built or shipped, newest first.
- First release built on the lane test bedv5.32.0, three batches of lane work shipped as one version.
- First batch on the lane test bedFour sessions working one batch: two Builders, an Integrator that merges and deploys, and an Observer that measures the run.
- First continuity pilotTested whether Builder sessions keep their place, recover, and stay inside their rules when held at a boundary.
- First supervised run of two Builders in parallelTwo Builder sessions each delivered an issue at the same time; the second rebased onto the first and re-ran every check on the combined result.
Version 6 holding 13
Larger changes being considered for a future Version 6. This is a forecast for discussion, not accepted scope: no 6.x version, date or milestone is assigned, and nothing listed here is being built yet.
